"attachement, Festmachung" (against this Porzig Satzinhalte 262) and with ὅρμος `chain' basically identical. Instead of operating with the abstract notion `fastening', it would be better, to explain ὅρμος `anchorage' as metaphor from ὅρμος `(anchor)-chain'; cf.
